Scope and Contents
137 x 86 mm. A view looking out over the town of Lady Grey, situated near the Lesotho border and named on its establishement in 1858 after Lady Elizabeth Grey, who had married the Governor Sir George Grey. In the background the mountains of the Wittebergen rise steeply. The photograph forms, with the following print, a panoramic view of the town.
