Cover Proofs, 1970
Scope and Contents
A file with cover proofs for the paperback editions of the following three books: The Selling of the President, by Joe McGinniss (RL/Pre-/739); In My Way, by George Brown (RL/Pre-/701); and Beaverbrook, by A.J.P. Taylor (RL/Pre-/700). All three covers feature images of plasticine model illustrations made by Roger Law. The McGinniss book has a model of President Richard Nixon jumping out of a box. In My Way has a model of George Brown. The final cover has a model of Lord Beaverbrook dressed up as a knight in armour, which is made of cuttings from the Daily Express newspaper.
