The majority of the material is from The Observer, where Law worked as a freelancer and then staff member, between 1962 and 1966. However, while working at The Observer, Law also submitted work to The Sunday Times, using the pseudonym, Alan F. Gill, before he moved over to The Sunday Times Magazine in 1966.
