The University Archives are generally freely available to the holder of a reader's ticket for the Manuscripts Reading Room at Cambridge University Library, West Road, Cambridge CB3 9DR. Restrictions on access are imposed on certain categories of sensitive record: financial, governmental and personal, by order of the originating body or under data protection legislation. Immediate Source of Acquisition

Volumes 1-3 were presented to the University Archives as a gift by Professor Boyd Hilton, Trinity College, on 25 February 2009. Volume 4 was presented by Professor John Parry, Pembroke College, on 20 April 2012. Volume 5 was presented by Dr Lucy Delap, Murray Edwards College, on 17 May 2022.

General

The online catalogue was prepared in April 2009 and emended in July 2012 and June 2022.
