The University Archives are generally freely available to the holder of a reader's ticket for the Manuscripts Reading Room at Cambridge University Library, West Road, Cambridge CB3 9DR. Biographical / Historical
The club was well established by the late 1890s and existed to promote discussion of issues in agriculture. It ran a regular programme of lectures and maintained a close relationship with the School of Agriculture.

The records were transferred to the University Archives from the Manuscripts Department on 18 October 2007. They had been presented by John Hammond junior, to the Manuscripts Department on 31 January 1977 and had been given the classmark Ms.Add.8127
