Scope and Contents
Items 1-5 are a manuscript set of club rules; 6 and 7 are concerned with the hire and payment for the club room at the Albert Institute; 8 and 9 are lists of members standing for election to the committee; and 10 and 11 are two letters concerning membership of the club with smoking stated as the reason for declining to join.

This item was transferred to the University Archives from the Manuscripts Department on 3 October 2007. It may initially have been presented by Henry Jackson. It was found in the University Library stock in June 1950 and was then deposited with the Manuscripts Department who gave it the classmark Ms.Add.7219.
