The University Archives are generally freely available to the holder of a reader's ticket for the Manuscripts Reading Room at Cambridge University Library, West Road, Cambridge CB3 9DR. Biographical / Historical
The Athenaeum Club was a sporting club of aristocratic membership, in existence 1845-1938. Its rooms were in Trinity Street.

The records were transferred to the University Archives from Barclay's Bank, Bene't Street, on indefinite loan, in February 1977.
