Scope and Contents The original envelope was labelled in Aelfrida Tillyard's hand: 'Letters from Mkambati etc 1944 and S. Cuthbert's to Easter 1945', though the earliest date is actually Dec 1943. They are mostly addressed from St Margaret's Hostel, St Cuthbert's Mission; also some from the Mkambati Leper Institution (Dec 1943), and some from the YWCA, E. London [South Africa] (July 1944).
