Continued detail of the daily round at St John's and its residents; a mix of the gossipy and the spiritual; still battling occasionally with the Sr Superior; occasional visits to Cambridge. Health: unable to attend much chapel; 'graveyard cough'; bronchial trouble; writing very shaky at times; right eye almost sightless in May 1957; spends time at Hope House Nursing Home and is also nursed on a ward at St John's for a time.
