Includes a telegram, 2 April 1948, to say that Alethea had arrived safely at Southampton. The file also contains 5 letters from Julius Tillyard to Aelfrida, written from Rhodes University College, Grahamstown, September 1947 - February 1948, including one written jointly with Alethea, December 1947.
