Feb 1956 - Alethea moves to 35 Marston Street, Oxford. May 1956 - AT speaks to a Women's Meeting at the Wesley Memorial Hall. Mid-June - mid-July 1956 - trip to Cambridge with the usual round of visits and callers. Deaths of residents and old friends and acquaintances, including Lilian Whitehouse, Gwen Raverat, and Dr Wynn - considerable retrospective on her relationship with him. Visitors include Alethea, Marjorie Milne, Julius. Jan. 1957 - Cambridge City Council wish to demolish AT's cottages in Staffordshire Street, Cambridge. Feb. 1957 - Eustace and Julius both to have operations.
