Tymawr. The daily round of the life of the community, with retreats, 'showings', trances and experience of the world being 'transparent of eternity'. Comment on new members and other residents. Pain and illness always in the background but kept there by AT's joy at being in the community. Occasional comment on world affairs, eg impending war. Occasional news of family, and description of a visit from nephew Walter, who seems taken with the religious life. Exploration of surrounding countryside. Occasional news of Alethea's work and travels.
