Wetenhall Cottage - Oxford. Brief visit to Wetenhall Cottage then back to Oxford: WC is to be let. Continued illness, though tumour no larger; Oct 1935 - to a nursing home again. Ongoing relationship with Father Cary as religious director; retreat; Sep 1935 - first vision for a long time; Father Cary believes AT is 'growing and expanding so admirably'; AT wishes to be a solitary but the Lady Abbess doesn't believe she is suited to it. Occasional comment on world affairs, including Mussolini. Alethea wishes to try her vocation at another convent. Passport photograph of AT pasted in at back, aged about 50.
