Personal: continued relationship with Anthony Wrightson and continued debate over whether to marry him; news of Constantine via Alethea; continued ill health including 'chronic inflammation of the womb'. Children: Alethea and Agatha are both in touch with Constantine; Agatha has a string of admirers, Humphrey in particular; Alethea lonely in Paris; a female friend declares a 'perverse passion' for her; John Wedgwood still pursuing Alethea but she is not interested. Family: mother's health deteriorating; news of Eustace and Phyllis and their children. Activities include speaking to the Women's Institute; the domestic round; Cambridge Steam Laundry business; teaching French and Italian; Women's Luncheon Club. Writing: begins 'O Passionate World', a novel; revising 'A Little Road Book for Mystics' - SCM Press will publish it; writing reviews for 'Theology'. Religion: presence of God in most of her activities; further meditation with Juan Mascaro; vision in a dream; church at St Columba's. Pasted in at back: 4 photographs, including AT, Agatha, Walter and Constance.
