Fordfield; The Brook, Sawston; Fordfield. Personal: begins with a sense of relief, release at losing Constantine; news of Constantine's remarriage; continued bouts of illness. Children: various activities and outings, with continued reference to their 'record books'. Family: visits to Phyllis and Eustace in Sawston, Cambs.; help needed in looking after AT's father; Phyllis is expecting another baby. Continued visits from Willie Searle. Places visited include Clare, Suffolk, April 1923. Writing: writing a book on Buddhist meditations and mysticism, spring 1923; June 1923 - finishes 'Meditations for the Modern Child'; 30 Aug. 1923 - begins a new novel, to be called either 'The Square' or 'The Selfish Woman'; Feb 1924 - proofs of children's book 'Messages' to arrive from the Faith Press soon. Religion: speaking at St Columba's Women's Prayer Meeting; visions and other spiritual experiences, including a dream of life just after death; congregational meetings. Pasted in at back: 6 photographs, including Stephen, Alethea, Agatha, Walter [Julius' and Mina's adopted son] and Chiara [AT's mother].
