Family: Eustace is courting Phyllis Mudie-Cooke [a Girtonian], and is admitted to a fellowship at Jesus College, Cambridge in 1913; Julius becomes engaged to Mina in 1912. Constantine is posted to Paris in 1913. Writing: Feb 1913 - discusses with Sir Arthur Quiller-Couch an idea for an anthology of Cambridge verse. Religion: more frequent spiritual thoughts; in 1913 begins to think about Roman Catholicism again.
