News arrives in May 1901 of the death of Archie Stent on April 29th. Mentions a "tall and huge German" with whom she danced at the ball in January. Regrets at impending departure from Lausanne - especially leaving the horses and riding lessons. Lends her novel "The Ending of the Way" to Mlle Feyler and reports her comments on same.
