The papers have been arranged loosely into three groups; the early years of British Council, English and Modern Languages, UK Examination Development including the introduction of the GCE, General UK Syndicate activities and Overseas activities.
Immediate Source of Acquisition
During 1998 and 1999, many of Wyatt’s papers and files were found in Room 100 of the Syndicate Buildings, 1 Hills Road, which had been his office. These have been amalgamated with the files of papers already in the archives and the following list produced.
