Set of Eggcups, 1982 - 1988
A set of nine ceramic eggcups, modelled by Luck & Flaw, which bear caricature faces of the following British politicians and members of the royal family: Margaret Thatcher, Neil Kinnock, Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip, Prince Andrew, Sarah Ferguson, two copies of a baby Prince William, and a baby Princess Beatrice. All eggcups have a white glossy finish.
This set is incomplete, missing those for Prince Charles [afterwards King Charles III] and Diana, Princess of Wales.

A paste-up for the front cover of the abandoned Spitting Image Productions Limited publication, Thatch! 10 Years of the Dragon! This publication was supposed to be published in 1989 to commemorate Margaret Thatcher's first ten years as British prime minister. The reason for its abandonment is unknown. The item features an image of a Thatcher puppet carving up Britain, which is represented as a piece of meat; photograph taken by Andy de Emmony (SI/462 (a)).
