Letter from CSC (33 Eccleston Square [London]) to "B M" [Lady Randolph Churchill] in which she thanks her for her letter about her visit to Glaslough [Monaghan, Ireland]; says that she intends to go to Lullenden [Sussex] where WSC will visit her and that "Goonie" [Gwendeline Churchill, earlier Gwendeline Bertie] is working in a hospital.

Letter from "Clemmie" [CSC] (Charlton, Banbury [Oxfordshire]) to "B M" [Lady Randolph Churchill] in which she refers to an enclosure [not present] from WSC, says that King [George V] has been "charming" about [Lady Randolph] and discusses hunting.

Letter from "Clemmie" [CSC] (41 Cromwell Road [London]) to "B M" [Lady Randolph Churchill] in which she says that she understands [Lady Randolph's] "difficulty", thanks her for her help when WSC was in France and says that she is sure that WSC will be able to rely on his own [financial] resources.

Letter from Robert Donald [Editor of the Daily Chronicle] (London) to Lady Randolph Churchill in which he discusses the articles she has agreed to write for the newspaper and says that she could write about the economic, political and social situation. In a postscript he comments on the good impression WSC has made on the Prime Minister [David Lloyd George]. Signed typescript.

Letter from "Goonie" [Lady Gwendeline Churchill, formerly Lady Gwendeline Bertie] (The Lodge, Brackley, Northamptonshire) to "B M" [Lady Randolph Churchill], expresses concern for her health, discusses plans to go to Scotland on the [Admiralty yacht] Enchantress with WSC and "Jack" [John S Churchill] and reports that the "boys" [John G Churchill and Peregrine Churchill] are well. Letter from Diana [Churchill, later Diana Bailey and Diana Sandys] (2 Sussex Square [London]) to "Grannie" [Lady Randolph Churchill] in which she thanks her for a box of chocolates, reports that she is to attend the Trooping of the Colour with WSC, that Sarah [Churchill, later Sarah Oliver, Sarah Beauchamp and Sarah, Lady Audley] is better and that Randolph [Churchill] has gone to school.
