Two hardboard woodcuts featuring print designs by Roger Law, which were used in the commemorative issue of the publication, Granta, in November 1964. These prints were used to illustrate the article, How the West Was Lost. One of the woodcuts features a likeness of the American Republican politician, Barry Goldwater, wearing a cowboy hat and a poka-dot bandana (RL/Pre-/861). This item was purchased by Roger Law, and was used as a source of inspiration for merchandise produced by Spitting Image Productions Limited, including the 'Pet Hates' dog chew toys.
