Biography
Geoffrey Haviland Gompertz joined Jardine, Matheson & Co. Ltd in 1924 and was employed in the Insurance Department at Hankow, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Tientsin. He was also the temporary Agent at Kobe during April 1940. He resigned from the company in 1948.
