Biography

Ian Faulconer Heathcoat Grant worked for Imperial Chemical Industries Ltd before joining the China Trading Department of Jardine, Matheson & Co. Ltd in Hong Kong in 1962. He moved to the Tokyo office in 1970, becoming Director and Manager for Japan in 1972. He became a Director of Jardine, Matheson & Co. Ltd in 1972, and resigned from the company in 1973.
