This is the first edition/first printing of the US edition published by Bantam, New York. The volume is flagged using post-it notes and has corrections in red pen, indicating it was an editorial copy. This First Issue was suppressed - most copies withdrawn and destroyed due to errors, including factual errors. No contents page and no dedication (as issued.)
