Biography

The British Aircraft Corporation Ltd was an aircraft manufacturer formed in 1960 from the merger of several companies, including Vickers-Armstrongs. It was owned jointly by Vickers, English Electric and the Bristol Aeroplane Co. In 1977 it became part of the new corporation British Aerospace.
