70/2 An unsigned 17C roll on parchment, pen and colour-wash arms, from Osmer to George, grandson of William Bostock of Cherington, Shropshire. The descent from Ralph Bostock of Moulton to Richard son of Nathaniel has been added in pen by a later hand. 'The pedegree of the auntient family of Bostocks in the County Pallatine of Chester, of whom the Bostocks of Nottinghamshire, Shrop-shire, Surrey, Barke-shire, and other places are descended.'

Unexecuted proposal. It proposes the removal of the Chapel from the south front to the south- east corner of the Hall, the bay-window with 16C stained glass re-erected there as the east end, and a dining room [?] with Gothick arched recess occupying the site of the old chapel. Lenny's survey plans of 1824 (Hengrave 26) show that a first-floor chapel was formed in the SE corner, but the old chapel and its stained glass remained where it still is
