As there is no sign of resolution in the strike it is proposed that the infantry force should be strengthened so that the police may be removed. Letter from Thomas Richards (South Wales Mining Federation, Royal Chambers, Cardiff [Wales]) to WSC enclosing a cutting from the South Wales Daily News [see CHAR 12/2/41] and asking for assistance in discovering how it was announced that he had accepted the post [of Labour Advisor to the Home Office].
