These files were given to Joyce Reynolds by Richard Goodchild. They pertain to research into Roman Cyrenaica that pre dates her own researches and which informed her own epigraphical work.

Scope and Contents Working files which document the transcription and translation of ancient Greek and Latin incriptions from Cyrenaica. This region is located in eastern Libya, during the Roman period it was also called the Pentapolis (Five Cities) and is geographically located on the plateau of the Jebel Akhdar (the Green Mountain), flanked to the west by the Gulf of Sidra (the Greater Syrtis), to the north by the Mediterrnean.
