This file charters Lord Taylour's excavations at Mycenae in 1962, including site plans, images of objects discovered in situ, and the excavatory process in general. Images of trenches, plastered walls, progress made, ceramic pottery and rooms uncovered all ensue, as well images of donkeys by one of the grave circles and workers eating breakfast.
This file encompasses photographs of ancient Greek architectural remains (such as the tholos-tomb of Marathon and the Treasury of Atreus of Mycenae) in Mycenae, Marathon, Athens and Tiryns, also featuring photographs of the Land Rover group.
