Scope and Contents Invoice books of the main office of Jardine, Matheson & Co. and its predecessors at, successively, Canton, Macao and Hong Kong (1-28), and of the offices at Shanghai (29-42) and Canton (44-50). The Shanghai volumes contain invoices for a variety of goods shipped from Foochow (Fuzhou), Hankow (Wuhan), Swatow (Shantou) and other ports in China, as well as Yokohama and Shanghai.
