Alice Caston, widow of Leonard, in compliance with his intentions, bequeated to the college by will of 1 Apr. 1618 annuities of £12 and of 10 marks [£6 13s 4d] charged respectively on properties in the manors of Letheringham, Hoo-Godwin's, Westhall and Sturmins and on properties in Saltisham, Sutton-Bawdsey, etc., for the maintenance of a fellowship and a scholarship, or of three scholarships.

Letter to the Master and Fellows concerning the lease of Landbeach farm., 1648-08-24
Watkins purchased the remaining term of four years of Nutting's lease and now wishes to renew it for 21 years. He sends his letter from London by the bearer, Mr William Dowthwayt.
On the verso of the second leaf a draft or copy of Richard Love's reply: he has consulted such fellows as are in residence and will consult the remainder when they return, 4 Sept. 1648.
Note that the letter was received, by Mr Dowthwayt, on 4 Sept. 1648.
Letter to the Master and Fellows, from his printing press in Suffolk Lane, offering to print [John] Booth's oration given in Great St Mary's on 5 November 1631 on the Gunpowder Plot,, 1648-09-29
The oration would have been printed in memory of Booth who died on 7 Feb. 1642/3 and was a benefactor to the college leaving an annuity which was, among other things, to reward the two scholars who made the best Gunpowder Plot oration each year (see 10/17).
Dugard also asks whether there are any other works of Booth suitable for the press.
It does not appear that the oration was ever printed.

A note by G. A. Wise, dated 12 Sept. 1936. 'on the cataloguing of the deeds of St Botolph parish' analyses the sub-groups 1 to 8; 9 consists of miscellaneous deeds in chronological order. XII 97 and 98 relate to the parish of Over and are listed there.
