Watkins purchased the remaining term of four years of Nutting's lease and now wishes to renew it for 21 years. He sends his letter from London by the bearer, Mr William Dowthwayt.
On the verso of the second leaf a draft or copy of Richard Love's reply: he has consulted such fellows as are in residence and will consult the remainder when they return, 4 Sept. 1648.
Note that the letter was received, by Mr Dowthwayt, on 4 Sept. 1648.
