George Sibbit Podevin (1878-1918) served in the South African Constabulary 1901-08 and was Acting District Commissioner, Ogoja May-August 1910 and later at Obudu. Podevin was a Transport Officer in the Cameroons during the Great War and was killed on December 2 1918.
