132 x 81 mm. Showing a man running across a bed of burning coals with a garland of flowers round his neck and a tall headdress of leaves. The pencilled inscription on the reverse reads: 'Walking through the fire. Man carrying the [?] cavadie across. Rose Hill, Mauritius, 2nd Jany 1928, J.W. Brodie.'
