224 x 182 mm. A view looking down on the settlement of Marigot, with streets of houses built along a narrow spit of land jutting out into the harbour. Marigot is the capital of St. Martin which lies north-west of Saint-Barthèlemy.

200 x 153 mm. A view showing the town and harbour of Gustavia, the capital of the island of Saint-Barthèlemy with bungalows and other residences in the foreground and sailing ships moored in the bay. Saint-Barthèlemy lies north of Saint Kitts and is separated by a narrow channel from the island of Saint Martin.
