248 x 190 mm. View looking down onto a river, with cultivated plots in the foreground, dense jungle on the farther bank and a mountain in the distance. Bandoeng or Bandung is the chief city of the Preanger Region of Western Java and is situated 75 miles east of Jakarta. It was the former headquarters of the Dutch East Indies Army.
