Album of mostly 80 x 54 mm prints. There is a brief list describing items 1-98, which document the trip from Southampton to South Africa, travel in South Africa, and the visit to Southern Rhodesia. Many photos do not appear in the exact numerical order given in the listing. The rest of the images are uncaptioned, but their general locations have been identified by reference to the diary RCMS 353/1.

245 x 192 mm. A view showing the settlement of Eagle Pass Landing, a gathering of wooden cabins and tents on the shores of Lake Shuswap. Here were the homes of the railway navvies who completed the last miles of track from the western end of the line, up the Gold Range towards the meeting place of Craigellachie. Eagle Pass landing later became the town of Sicamous.

Scope and Contents From the Fonds: A limp-bound book, number 36 of a numbered edition of 100, containing photogravure plates and coloured illustrations by various artists. Each page is preceded by a sheet containing the title and description; in most cases only the title is given in the typescript catalogue.
