Eagle Pass Landing, 1885
Scope and Contents
245 x 192 mm. A view showing the settlement of Eagle Pass Landing, a gathering of wooden cabins and tents on the shores of Lake Shuswap. Here were the homes of the railway navvies who completed the last miles of track from the western end of the line, up the Gold Range towards the meeting place of Craigellachie. Eagle Pass landing later became the town of Sicamous.
