211 x 154 mm. A view looking down on to and along the Crocodile River, with thick woodland on either bank. NZASM was the initials of the Nederlands Zuid-Afrikaanse Spoorweg Maatskappij or Netherlands South African Railways Company, formed in Holland in 1884 to build a railway from Laurenco Marques to Pretoria. The first line, from Johannesburg to Boksburg was completed in 1889, but the link with Delagoa Bay was not finished until 1895 after many delays and much loss of life through...
