Content Description A collection of lantern slides and two loose photographic prints, documenting a journey from the United Kingdom, via Gibraltar and the Suez, to Cochin in Kerala, India. Scope and Contents

A collection of albumen prints which include views of the Middle East, Malta and Gibraltar by Robertson, Beato and others. The majority are of European works of arts and townscapes (many of the latter unidentified). There are also scenes at Woolwich. Plates 68-80 are uncaptioned and consist of miscellaneous engravings of weaponry, armour and archaeological sites.
