This album contains 114 collodio-chloride prints, mostly amateur work of good quality, approximately 110 x 65 mm in size. In addition to photographs of India, there are eight of Canada (72-79) and seven of England (80-85, 114) dated 1907 and 1909. Invitations for Douglas to become an honorary member of a number of regimental messes have also been inserted.

Bridge of Boats over the Ravi, near Lahore, 1908-02 - 1908-03
Half-plate (landscape format). On the bridge note the Sikh beggar with his donkey (Iron circlet round his turban). Beyond is the railway bridge. The white building is called Bavadari and was used for the King to fish from. This bridge is dismantled during the rainy season - June to August. (Fisher).
