J.W. Laing: W.L. Edminston: R.J. Watson (posed group). 103 x 154 mm. Laing was based at Coonor from 9th to 22nd December 1873 and while there spent much of his time with William Edminston of the Glenmore Estate and Robert Watson, manager of the Glendale Estate. Both of them were apparently old acquaintances from Scotland. Though he mentions that this photograph was taken on 15th December during a two-day visit to Ootacamund, he does not give the name of the photographer. (p. 163).
