Malay Peninsula (Straits Settlements and Federated Malay States), 1907
A portfolio containing photogravure reproductions on 57 sheets, plus title leaf and map. The series contains views showing general scenery, towns, agriculture and industry in British Malaya, and breaks down into geographical locations: Singapore 1-35; Penang 36-50; F.M.S 51-137; Sumatra 138. The captions printed under the photographs have been copied including some eccentric spelling.

116 x 141 mm. The caption on the reverse reads 'Part of the library of timber specimens in the Wood Technological section at the Forest Research Institute. There are between 4000 and 5000 different specimens of Malayan timer filed there'.

Malayan town planning papers
Memoranda concerning Concannon's work, mainly in typescript. Most of the material was written by Concannon, although there are a few items by other people. Some papers relate to the meeting of the Colonial Housing and Town Planning Advisory Panel in London in 1953.

A group portrait of members of the Perak State Council, composed of the Sultan, the British Resident, the Secretary to the Resident and various prominent members of the Malay and Chinese communities. The Sultan, Raja Alang Iskander Shah, is seated in the centre of the group with C.W.C. Parr beside him while the Residents Secretary (unidentified) stands with the Chinese and Malay members in the back row.

Newscuttings on Africa and South East Asia
The principal part of the collection is a set of thirteen scrapbooks of newscuttings relating to East Africa, particularly Kenya and Tanganyika. The rest of the collection consists of a volume of cuttings relating to post-war trading opportunities in Nigeria and three scrapbooks concerning rubber and mining in South East Asia.
