63 x 107 mm. A side view of the figurehead taken from HMS 'Hibernia' in 1912 when the navy moved its headquarters from that ship into the fort. The figurehead stands at the entrance to the fort inside the main gate.

It shows fortifications in the foreground; to the rear can be seen St Publius Church (with the granaries in front), Sarria Church, and the Methodist Church. To their right are the Maglio Gardens. This area suffered severely from bombing in World War II.

Kodachromes, dated September 1975 and listed by processing number. Apparently taken on a visit to Malta while Marnham was Ambassador to Tunisia since the numbering follows a Tunisian sequence. Original numbering has been retained.
