Malaysia, 1949 - 1986
A series of photographs of the University of Malaya. The original University of Malaya was inaugurated in Singapore in 1949. Activities were extended to Kuala Lumpur in 1957, and in 1959 two sections, the University of Malaya in Singapore and the University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur formally came into being. From 1 January 1962 they became the University of Malaya and the University of Singapore, q.v. Photographer unknown.
