The note on the reverse states that it was occupied by a company employee, John Robert Wilson Pigott (1850-1928), during IBEA Co. times and by Charles William Hobley (1857-1947) when he was Provincial Commissioner of Seyidieh Province (appointed 1912). The house was built on the site of the Katherine Bibby Hospital.
