A collection of loose prints, measuring approximately 150 x 105 mm, with pencilled captions on the reverse. An accompanying letter to the Librarian of the Royal Colonial Institute, J.R. Boosé, dated April 17 1900, gives some additional information about the photographs and promises further prints 'if these are of any use'.

Here, at the potter's wheel, a Cypriot makes an earthen-ware jar of the type so often used in Cypriot households for storing olives, cheese and other items'.
