Gauging [sic] weir, Irrigation works, White River Settlement, 1900 - 1910
210 x 148 mm. Showing the gauging weir and reservoir at the White River Settlement. The village of White River in the eastern Transvaal was founded by Lord Milne's Government in 1904 as the centre for an irrigation settlement for demobilised British soldiers. Since that time it has become one of the most important citrus growing centres.

General C.R. de Wet at Norvalspont concentration camp
Loose prints measuring approximately 160 x 115 mm with captions which have been recorded as found. These are modern prints from two glass negatives. The prints record a visit made by General Christiaan Rudolf de Wet (1854-1922) to the British concentration camp at Norvalspont, presumably shortly after the Second South African War.
