316 x 220 mm. A view looking down from the town onto two steamers moored in the inland harbour, with houses in the background. The prison buildings can be seen on the far side of the harbour near the top of Richmond Hill.

Chamberlain bridge, Landing steps, etc, Barbados, 1910
200 x 140 mm. A view looking down on part of the Bridgetown dock area with a sailing ship moored near the Chamberlain Bridge. Larger steam vessels can be seen at anchor offshore in the deep-water harbour. The bridge was presumably named out of gratitude for Joseph Chamberlain's successful fight to induce the cabinet to abolish the bounty system which encouraged European beet production at the expense of imported West Indian sugar.
