The reverse of the print is stamped by the Bahamas News Bureau, with their reference: '12829', and is annotated in pencil with 'Alfred Bain, Mystery (?) J'. Presumably this is the name of the man pictured shaking Arthur's hand, and the name of his vessel.

Behind them stand Captain Coxhead, the Governor’s ADC and another daughter of the Norman’s. Sir Henry was Governor of Jamaica 1883-89 and Governor of Queensland 1889-96.
